Big Bear Music works with a range of bands and event organisers to book tours and one-off performances, with a focus on both entertainment and musical quality that lives up to our motto: Real Music, Properly Played.
We currently represent touring bands, including King Pleasure & The Biscuit Boys, Tipitina, Lady Sings The Blues, Warren James’ Hit Parade Heroes, Django Chutney, and various Blues bands.
Live Music Programming
We’ve programmed live music for a large number of events, including The Birmingham Jazz Festival (1985-present), Newcastle Under Lyme Jazz & Blues Festival (2014-present), Sugnall Jazz & Blues Festival, Birmingham Country Music Festival, National Jazz Festival (27/6 to 4/7/93, 21 cities from Durham to Basildon, Bristol to Barking), New York Non Stop, Welcome Home Festival, street entertainment at Birmingham Super Prix, 1991, Arctic Border Blues Festival: Kirkenes (Norway), Nikel and Murmansk (Soviet Union), Soho Jazz Festival, Wolverhampton Jazz & Blues Festival, Shrewsbury Jazz Festival, Coventry Jazz Festival, Walsall Jazz & Blues Festival, Highgate Brewery Festival, Marbella Jazz Festival, A Night At The Cotton Club (Countdown to The Millennium), The Countdown Sessions (2009), Big City Blues Festival, Birmingham Big City Blues Summit (27 to 31 August 1992).
And have booked live music on behalf of a large number of corporate clients, including British Airways, The G8 Summit, Budweiser, The Royal Albert Hall, The Eurovision Song Contest, Southern Comfort, Cadillac, Ernst & Young, Honda, Gordons Gin, Blue Peter, Eversheds, KP Nuts, Teletubbies, Volkswagen.
We can provide bands for public events and private functions, restaurants, hotels and shopping centres to suit a variety of budgets and tastes.
