Jazz red hot and noir
October 10 sees the issue of a Jazz on Film... 5 CD box set Film Noir on the Moochin' About label. This is the first volume of an ongoing series dedicated to jazz on film and features the scores for such classics as Duke Ellington's Anatomy of a Murder and Elmer Bernstein's Man with the Golden Arm, plus less well known scores such as John Lewis's Odds Against Tomorrow. Included in the package is a 52-page booklet featuring in-depth analysis by Selwyn Harris and a foreword by Guy Barker.
