Library of Birmingham

The new Library of Birmingham, opened in September 2013, is a brand new cultural and social hub for Birmingham. It contains spaces for both private reading, and public meetings, with everything from recording rooms to cafés. This building is an example of Birmingham’s great cultural heritage, and holds some important works such as early Shakespeare Folios and The Boulton and Watt Collection. Entrance to the Library is free, though there are paid events and exhibitions on.
