The Jazz Fest's On It's Way

The 29th Birmingham International Jazz & Blues Festival is set for July 5th to 14th and the programme is nearly complete. Although most of the venues are now set, there are still a few vacant slots, while final decisions will be made on bands by mid-April. As always, there will be a bunch of new faces in town, this year look out for Potato Head Jazz Band [Spain], The Good Lovelies [Canada], The Dixie Strollers [London], Kent DuChaine [USA], Giedre Kilciauskiene/Andrej Polevikov Quartet [Lithuania], Grainne Duffy Band [Ireland], Lindy Pop [Leeds], Sheep Got Waxed [Lithuania], Alex McKown Blues Band [Sheffield] and The Krupa Connection [Northampton].
